Like the shark in Jaws, the algorithm is emotionless, soulless, and ruthlessly efficient at what it does: exploiting human behavior for its own ends.
Proverbs 14:15-16: A Warning for the Wise
“The simple believe everything, but the prudent watch where they are going; the wise fear and turn away from evil, but a fool is reckless and confident.”
The swimmers in the red ocean of social media are often “simple,” believing what they’re told by network marketing trainers who assure them they can “win the algorithm game.” But the prudent—the ones who watch carefully—begin to see the warning signs.
